• DIY: Home Decorating

  I love personalizing my bedroom and apartment with simple and easy-to-make decor items. I bought blue suede and olive green linen fabric from Joann Fabrics to construct a throw pillow cover and some place mats. Cutting them into square shapes, I sewed the two sides together and turned them inside out to hide the seam lines. Finally, I stuffed a pillow (any old, unwanted pillow) inside the cover and put flowers near the place mats to complete the looks.
