Although hair is nowhere near my area of expertise, I thought it’d be fun to make a tutorial of this updo that I’ve been wearing a lot lately. The hairstyle requires curling and French braiding techniques, but overall it is extremely simple. With a few bobby pins and flowers (optional), this hairdo can be worn casually or for a special occasion!
Click on each image to view its full size:

1. Apply hairspray or mousse to your hair.

2. The best hair to work with is textured hair, so quickly curl your hair for added volume.

3. If you have bangs, start braiding on the opposite side. French braid (click here for tutorial) loosely downward using thick hair pieces.

4. Continue French braiding, making sure you pivot to the side.

5. After reaching the opposite ear, be sure you section off your bangs (if you have any).

6. Tightly tie the braid with a hair tie.

7. Use bobby bins and pin the end of the braid in a circular motion to your head. Pull out some curls to create a loose and messy bun. And you’re done!

End Result.
