Picking up from a few months of idle time, I finally found the motivation to start blogging again. In April, I had the opportunity to volunteer at Gainesville Fashion Week and as expected, it was a series of spectacular shows. Working behind the scenes, however, definitely gave me a humble outlook and a deeper understanding. Through the chaos, clothes were flying off and designers were holding their breath backstage. But the moment when the last model walks in, it’s that sense of success radiating from the designers that lets me feel their passion, and appreciate this experience even more.
